The research is clear: kids are not reading, they’re watching. Between 6-8 hours of screen time per day. We’re working to change that, because the key to a healthy future rests in the hands of proficient readers.

Shelter CHEF is a Canadian cause-centric social enterprise that empowers socially stigmatized women to “cook up goodness” in their own backyards and global frontiers with creativity + courage + empathy.


CaptionsON is Shelter CHEF‘s first client. Leib took a chance on them; as he chose to hire them and lead by example emulating the empathy-based foundation of CaptionsON .
